If you happen to love Du Maurier’s Rebecca, this would be a very good choice for you. I love a very good thriller, especially when it has to do with an old manor house, secrets, and England. I had difficulty getting into it initially because the story is told from two different narrators and times. Ultimately. All comes together in the end with a satisfying conclusion. This is a debut for the author, and she toes an excellent job with language and suspense. Black Rabbit Hall was great escapist fiction and perfect for my beach reading.
